About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Food & Beverage Accountant to join our growing hospitality team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in the F&B or hotel industry, and the ability to manage cost control, inventory, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyze daily sales and cost of goods sold (COGS) for all F&B outlets.
- Conduct inventory audits and reconcile any differences with kitchen and bar teams.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and F&B performance reports.
- Monitor food and beverage cost trends and suggest cost-saving improvements.
- Handle supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams for recipe costing and wastage control.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal control procedures.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with Bahrain tax and accounting laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the F&B or hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or Odoo) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, inventory systems, and P&L management.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment.
