Company Overview:
A reputed VIP restaurant group in Bahrain is hiring an experienced Purchasing Officer. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in restaurant operations or FMCG purchasing, with hands-on experience in costing, vendor management, and procurement documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle the procurement process for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.
- Prepare and review quotations, LPOs, and invoices accurately.
- Manage purchase entries, costing, and supplier negotiations.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate credit terms and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and standards.
- Collaborate with the accounts and kitchen teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a restaurant or FMCG purchasing role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of costing, LPO creation, and supplier management.
- Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
