General Accountant – Manama, Bahrain

We are looking for a skilled General Accountant to join our team in Manama, Bahrain, within the Import, Distribution, and Trading industry. The ideal candidate will manage the full accounting cycle and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all accounting functions, including payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage VAT filings and compliance with Bahrain accounting standards.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audits.
  • Work with ERP systems and advanced Excel functions to streamline accounting processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or trading sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations and accounting standards.
  • Proficient in ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
