Job Overview:
Atlantic Pools is seeking an experienced Accountant Cum Purchaser to join our growing team. This role combines accounting expertise with procurement and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations, government compliance, and purchasing needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full accounting operations using Tally software.
- Handle all GOSI and LMRA tasks, including visa applications, renewals, and employee documentation.
- Oversee cash flow, expense tracking, and payment schedules.
- Process VAT filings and ensure compliance with Bahrain’s tax regulations.
- Manage customs clearance and payments for import/export operations.
- Coordinate with engineers and sales teams to fulfill purchasing requirements.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, reconciliations, and checks.
- Liaise with banks, suppliers, and government authorities on finance-related matters.
- Maintain financial documentation and support audit readiness.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Tally software.
- Strong knowledge of GOSI & LMRA processes, Bahrain VAT laws, and customs procedures.
- Experience in procurement and purchasing management.
- Excellent understanding of cash flow management.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and time management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
