A leading company in Bahrain is looking for a highly skilled IT Specialist & Administrator to manage and optimize critical IT infrastructure and communication systems. This role focuses on network, server, virtualization, security, and unified communications (UC) platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Manage and support enterprise voice systems, including cloud-based and on-premise PBX solutions.
- Deploy, maintain, and optimize virtualization environments using VMware vSphere.
- Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless systems.
- Design and implement secure firewall policies and VPN solutions.
- Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and single sign-on systems.
- Administer Microsoft 365, email hosting, and cloud applications.
- Provide technical support for enterprise applications, including ERP systems.
Security, Reliability & Project Execution
- Design and manage backup, disaster recovery, and data protection solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security measures.
- Serve as Tier III escalation for complex IT issues across network, server, and applications.
- Research and implement IT infrastructure innovations and automation.
- Contribute technical expertise to IT project planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cloud and on-premise PBX administration
- VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
- Firewall and network devices (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper)
- Microsoft 365 and enterprise email solutions
- Active Directory administration
- Strong technical knowledge of networking, servers, storage, and operating systems (Linux & Windows Server).
- Security-focused mindset with experience in vulnerability assessment and patch management.
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
- Collaborative and capable of working in a multi-cultural, globally distributed team.
- Preferred: IT certifications such as VCP, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, ITIL, Security+.
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare environments and knowledge of medical terminology.
