A reputed company in Bahrain is urgently looking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate should be able to manage the full accounting cycle and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle complete accounting processes — from bookkeeping to finalization of accounts
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries, accruals, payroll, and reconciliations
  • Maintain systematic filing and ensure proper documentation for all transactions
  • Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports accurately and on time
  • Manage VAT filing, compliance, and documentation in accordance with Bahrain regulations
  • Handle inventory management, depreciation, and accounting adjustments
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documents during audits
  • Perform multiple accounting tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of computerized and manual accounting systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Bahrain VAT rules and financial compliance
  • Organized, dynamic, and able to work under deadlines
