Procurement Officer

Location: Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia (Dammam)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage purchasing, vendor relations, and supply chain operations for our organization in Khobar. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in procurement processes, vendor negotiation, and ERP systems, ensuring timely material availability while controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for materials and services.
  • Source suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Verify supplier statements and ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth material delivery and logistics support.
  • Utilize ERP systems (SAP, ETOS, Focus) to manage procurement data, reporting, and purchase requisitions.
  • Monitor procurement budgets, control costs, and ensure VAT compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and procurement reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Over 7 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, and supply chain operations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven experience in the industrial and transportation sectors.
  • Skilled in ERP systems (SAP, ETOS, Focus ERP).
  • Strong knowledge of LPOs, contract negotiation, cost control, and logistics coordination.
  • Ability to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and ensure timely material availability.
  • Valid and transferable iqama in Saudi Arabia.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Satavahana University, India, 2015
