Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Manama. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in preparing reports and statements in line with company and legal accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post and process journal entries to record all business transactions.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports.
- Review expenses, payroll records, and other financial data as assigned.
- Maintain accurate financial databases for immediate access.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Assist senior accountants in monthly and yearly closings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
