We are hiring an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily civil and structural construction activities according to approved drawings, project specifications, and safety policies.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Attend meetings with clients and consultants, providing updates on project progress and resolving issues.
- Prepare daily site reports, weekly progress updates, and monthly performance reviews.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers, supervisors, and foremen to solve site challenges.
- Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Review technical documents, shop drawings, and material approvals for compliance.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards on-site to maintain a safe workplace.
- Maintain accurate project records including RFIs, NCRs, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
- Assist in budget monitoring and cost control, including subcontractor validation and payment applications.
- Support continuous improvement by applying value engineering and efficient resource management.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- CRPEP license is mandatory.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure).
- Strong knowledge of project supervision, contracts, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in design and calculation software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
