A reputable restaurant in Manama, Bahrain is looking for an experienced Continental Chef to join their kitchen team.

Job Description:
The Continental Chef will prepare, cook, and present high-quality Continental dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation. The role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and adherence to kitchen standards and hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present Continental cuisine to high standards
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance
  • Support menu planning, mise en place, and daily kitchen operations
  • Train and guide junior staff, following recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor inventory, reduce waste, and coordinate with the front-of-house (FOH) team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Continental Chef (CDP or higher)
  • Strong skills in plating, presentation, and Continental cooking techniques
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and work effectively in a team
  • Flexible with shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be currently in Bahrain
