A luxury café in Bahrain is looking for an experienced Executive Pastry and Bakery Chef to lead its kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about desserts, creative in menu development, and skilled in modern and traditional pastry techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including cakes, breads, cookies, and pies, using both traditional and innovative recipes.
  • Design and create new dessert concepts to refresh the menu and attract customers.
  • Decorate pastries with icings, toppings, and garnishes to ensure beautiful presentation.
  • Manage inventory and order baking ingredients within the set budget.
  • Monitor ingredient quality, kitchen equipment, and hygiene standards.
  • Supervise and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to maintain high productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan staffing, training, and development.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bakery environment in line with health regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Executive Baker, preferably in a luxury café or hotel.
  • Strong creativity and knowledge of modern dessert trends and plating techniques.
  • Excellent time management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain consistency and high standards in every dish.
