We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer with expert-level proficiency in JewelCAD Pro to join our Design & Product Development team in Tubli. The designer will report to the Head of Design and contribute to creating innovative and technically precise jewellery pieces.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Conceptualization
- Create original jewellery designs based on market trends, client requests, and creative briefs.
- Produce detailed hand sketches and digital mood boards to communicate design concepts.
3D Modelling with JewelCAD Pro
- Build highly accurate and detailed 3D models of rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and other jewellery items.
- Create complex, parametric designs optimized for casting, stone setting, and assembly.
- Manage and organize model structures and layers efficiently in JewelCAD Pro.
Technical Design & Engineering
- Ensure designs are feasible, durable, and cost-effective for production.
- Design functional elements such as clasps, hinges, and stone settings (prong, pave, bezel, channel).
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for the production team.
Prototyping & Revision
- Collaborate with the workshop to review 3D printed prototypes and make adjustments as needed.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from clients, designers, and production managers.
Collaboration
- Work closely with master jewelers, casters, and stone setters to solve technical challenges.
- Liaise with marketing and sales teams to produce photorealistic renderings for presentations and promotional materials.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven professional experience as a Jewellery Designer.
- Expert proficiency in JewelCAD Pro with a portfolio demonstrating complex 3D models.
- Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
