About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Project Engineer to oversee civil and finishing works for ongoing construction projects in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on project management experience, and a clear understanding of Bahrain’s construction market.
You’ll be responsible for supervising project execution from start to handover, ensuring high quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise civil and finishing works to ensure quality and on-time completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients throughout the project.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and material requirements.
- Review BOQs, verify quantities, and monitor cost control.
- Ensure all works comply with design standards, specifications, and local regulations.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Source and evaluate construction materials based on market prices.
- Support tendering processes with technical and cost-related input.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the GCC, preferably in Bahrain.
- Strong understanding of civil, finishing, and fit-out works.
- Excellent skills in communication, budgeting, and coordination.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- In-depth knowledge of Bahrain’s construction market and supplier network.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: BHD 400 – 600 per month (based on experience).
