We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction Division in Salmabad, Bahrain. Candidates must already be based in Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits with project engineers and supervisors to take measurements and understand client requirements.
- Prepare prequalification documents, tender packages, and contract documents including bills of quantities (BOQ).
- Analyze cost estimates and provide accurate casting and BOQ reports.
- Perform risk management, value engineering, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise management on procurement strategy and contractual claims.
- Identify and assess commercial risks, recommending solutions.
- Prepare and finalize project accounts at completion.
- Ensure all work complies with construction industry standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (with computer and design software knowledge).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D drawings.
- Proven skills in cost estimation, contracts, and commercial risk management.
- Must currently reside in Bahrain.
