Job Objective
The main objective of this role is to estimate the value of projects under tender as part of the business development process. The candidate must be able to review technical documents, coordinate with suppliers, and prepare accurate cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and study tender documents carefully.
- Evaluate tender drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Send enquiries to suppliers and manufacturers and follow up for quotations.
- Compare supplier quotations and negotiate technical and commercial terms.
- Carry out value engineering studies based on project budgets.
- Maintain and update the supplier and manufacturer database.
- Delegate quantity take-off tasks and verify final quantities.
- Prepare pricing for infrastructure and building works.
- Support the preparation of tender submissions and pre-qualification documents.
Requirements
- B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Candidates without a Civil Engineering degree will not be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in estimation.
