Job Overview:
AISA is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in transmission line and substation design. The ideal candidate will handle design, engineering, project execution, and site supervision, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with civil, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to successfully deliver high-voltage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering:
- Design transmission lines, including voltage level selection (132kV, 220kV, 400kV).
- Determine conductor type and sizing (ACSR, AAAC).
- Perform insulation coordination, sag-tension calculations, and tower design.
- Design grounding and lightning protection systems.
- Prepare substation layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), busbar arrangements, and control/protection schemes.
- Plan equipment placement for transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, and PTs.
Project Execution & Site Supervision:
- Supervise tower erection and stringing of conductors.
- Oversee substation installation and equipment commissioning.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in high-voltage transmission line and substation design.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards and project management.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
